This is a lovely and versatile set perfect for the holiday season. We have a festive red (Dompap) frosty blue with silver shine (Blåis) a pine green (Forra) a warm brown (Kongle) shiny gold (Siv) and silver (Tor). 
The dot cards have roughly one square cm dot of each of the 6 colours
The names are Norwegian (my first language) and here are the stories behind them:
Dompap - This is the word for the red chested bull finch, a bird we often associate with winter and Christmas (at least in Norway). This is likely because we see it more often in the colder season as it has to make its way out of the deep pine forest in order to find food. 
Blåis - Directly translated this means blue ice. This is the compacted ice at the bottom of glaciers that appear blue. Worthy of a frosty blue paint wouldn't you agree?
Forra - This is a dialect word (bokmål: Furu) for Scots Pine. This was my dad's favourite tree, perfect in its imperfections. He appreciated the asymmetry and he would occasionally talk about having one as a Christmas tree. Since he never got that I include it here in my holiday palette. 
Kongle - This mens pine cone in Norwegian. They are both a warm and chocolate-y brown and perfect for a holiday palette.
Tor - The Norse god of thunder (All my metallic and glittery watercolours will be named after Norse gods) the silver representing the lightning
Siv - Thor's wife is said to have beautiful gold hair (that Loke once cut off a lock from). This gold just had to be named after her.
All the paint sold in this shop is artist quality. It is mulled and poured by hand and of excellent quality where only ingredients that have a function and are necessary to the paint is added. This means no fillers or brighteners to bulk up the paint. I let the paint speak for itself in their own beautiful colours. Variations in finish can occur from batch to batch and will occur in different colours due to the different properties of the pigment itself. The colour of the finished product might vary slightly from what you see on your screen depending on calibration.
